Lymer Vision of Colorado Springs recognized in the national publication, Review of Optometry
Lymer Vision of Colorado Springs has been recognized in the national publication Review of Optometry for the publication’s 2021 design contest. This event, held every two years, recognizes the design and creativity of Optometric offices. Lymer Vision’s new facility was recognized as being one of the top designed optometric offices in the US and Canada.
Review of Optometry stated, “we always look forward to our biennial Office Design Contest and seeing optometrists from all over the country show off their style and, in some cases, their personality”.
Dr. Lymer and his wife Christina, Lymer Vision’s COO, worked with local interior design group Senger Design, wood craftsman and design group Eden Oaks, and general contractor Wells and West to fulfill their vision of a modern “Colorado feel” eye care facility.
“With the new remodel of our office taking place right in the middle of the COVID 2020 pandemic, we felt very fortunate that we worked with all local businesses for the project” commented Dr. Lymer. “They were amazing in helping us not only complete the project but did so in record speed, capturing the essence of the Lymer Vision experience.”
Mrs. Lymer added, “we wanted to bring the beauty and expanse of Colorado’s outdoors inside by incorporating wood, stone, and the openness of Colorado that we all love. Additionally, we wanted our patients to experience eye care as we think they should in a relaxing, comfortable, almost spa-like setting. We really connect with our patients and want them to feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they step into our office. I think our remodel has done a great job at accomplishing that”.
Lymer Vision highlighted in General Contractors magazine as contractors’ most notable remodel
Lymer Vision was highlighted this year in the General Contractors magazine for Wells & West Contractors’ most notable remodel. The magazine highlighted the eye care facility pointing out the remodel, complete with office and exam space, and carefully selected finishes mix well with the thoughtful architecture that blends function with striking aesthetics.
General Contractors magazine highlighted Wells and West as one of the top 5 general contractors in Colorado Springs. The magazine’s goal is to identify and celebrate the best general contractors in America. The evaluation methodology considers a range of criteria, which are weighted differently for different project types. Some common and important criteria include history of work, customer satisfaction, awards and recognition, the background of the principals, quality of work, clientele, and online presence.
